History
How the firm got from a two-room office to where it is now.
2011 — Founding
Egnatia Platinum Finance opens in two rooms at Gatwick with four people and a specialism in complex-income mortgages the high street would not touch.
2014 — Commercial lending
The first commercial property facilities are written. The pattern that still defines the firm emerges: cases other lenders declined for reasons that did not survive a human reading.
2017 — Trade finance
A trade finance desk opens to support importers and exporters along established UK routes, initially into the Gulf and later across Asia Pacific.
2020 — Institutional
Fund finance and syndication capability is added, taking the firm into subscription lines and club deals alongside institutional lenders.
2023 — The portal
The client portal launches, giving clients a consolidated view of accounts, cases and documents in one place, and secure messaging straight to their relationship manager.
2026 — Today
Around £1.4 billion arranged and advised since founding. Four regions of coverage, more than fifty currencies, and still one relationship manager per client from first conversation to final repayment.
