Savings

Instant access, notice and fixed-term deposits, in the currency that suits you.

Overview

Savings at Egnatia are deliberately unexciting: a clear rate, a clear term, and no bonus that quietly lapses after twelve months. You choose the access profile, we hold the balance, and the rate you were quoted is the rate you get.

Eligibility at a glance

  • An open Egnatia personal or business account
  • Minimum opening deposit varies by product and is quoted before you commit
  • Fixed-term deposits cannot be broken early except in defined hardship circumstances

What you get

The detail that matters.

Instant access

Withdraw without notice or penalty. Suited to a working reserve rather than a long-term position.

Notice accounts

Thirty, sixty or ninety days' notice, at a rate that reflects the commitment.

Fixed-term deposits

One to sixty months, rate fixed at the outset for the full term.

Multi-currency deposits

Hold savings in the currency you will eventually spend, rather than carrying conversion risk.

Questions

Answers before you ask.

Are rates fixed or variable?
Fixed-term deposits are fixed for the whole term. Instant-access and notice rates are variable and we give notice in writing before any reduction takes effect.
What happens at maturity?
We contact you before the maturity date with the options. If we cannot reach you, the balance moves to an instant-access account rather than rolling into a new fixed term automatically.
Is my deposit protected?
Deposit protection depends on the entity holding the funds and the jurisdiction. We set out the applicable position in the product terms for each deposit before you place it.
